Onward on PC is a tactical shooting game, aimed at multiplayer. The production, created with virtual reality goggles in mind, is the debut work of the independent team downpour interactive.
Onward PC – Review:
Onward PC takes the player to a realistically rendered contemporary battlefield. The fighting takes place in diverse environments, from desert villages to container-filled ports. The game offers, among other things, variable weather conditions and the time of day and night. The title stands out from other such productions by the lack of typical FPS features: HUD, ammo counter, and even the usual sight hanging in the middle of the screen. In addition, the number of Respawn possible per game is strictly limited. So the key to success is to coordinate players ‘ actions, ensure communication and take advantage of the opportunities offered by both the environment and the individual types of weapons.
Onward PC requires virtual reality goggles and dedicated motion controllers. Players have the opportunity to look around freely (through head movements) and move around the environment. Targeting, in turn, is carried out using these controllers. Appropriate audiovisual experience is provided by realistic sounds of weapons and a decent graphic setting.
